Podcast: First Field Day

with 3 comments

With Field Day 2009 coming up this weekend I thought it was time to drag out an old Long Delayed Echoes podcast that detailed the results from the very first Field Day operation from way back in 1933.

Directly download the MP3 file from this link. The file is 5Mb and runs about 11 minutes in length.

Ignore the details about program links, etc. as these are now deprecated.

If you enjoy this program, take a look through the archive to find more like it.

  1. Have you ever come around to publish your radio stories commercially?

  2. The stories and articles that I’ve written about radio have been published widely in books, trade journals, hobby magazines (CQ,QST), newletters, as well as online.

If you mean the spoken word podcast (Long Delayed Echoes) then the answer is “not yet” though I hope to have an audio book of old radio stories ready just in time for Christmas 2009.

    Thanks for asking.
