The recent post, DXing in 2025, by Ron VE3VN really resonated with me and I intended to write more about it. But after several aborted iterations, I realized I had nothing more to add. The article is a lament about losing interest in the pursuit of DX, and suggests that DXCC has become too easily obtainable for it to remain personally challenging. Ron is careful to say that it is “him” who changed and not the hobby, but I think he’s being overly generous in this regard.
