A few weekends ago, when the W1AW portables were operating from Florida, I managed to work them on 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 meters – phone, CW, and RTTY. And that’s not all. In the midst of all that activity, Six meters opened and I got them on phone and CW to boot.
It was like there was a pipeline between me and Florida that weekend.
Those LoTW confirmations began pouring in yesterday, and it was a sight to behold. I’ve never had a string so long with the same call sign in the “worked” field. Far and away the most enjoyable weekend operating of the year-long Centennial QSO Party for me.
I’m just waiting for Rhode Island to get their logs uploaded as I piled on them too.
November brought bountiful harvest on the radio, but now I’m fretting about what we will do for fun when it all comes to a close in just a few more weeks?
