I live in East Central Indiana (EN70ge) in a small farming community. A mile or two north of here is another wide spot in the road called “Cammack” where there is a nice place to eat, the Cammack Station. It was designed to look a little like an old-time gasoline station, but on steroids. It attracts a lot of visitors of the kind who enjoy the Mayberry experience.
We have lunch there a couple times a month and last time we were there we saw this new pole barn just behind the restaurant – that hadn’t been there the last time we visited. So I asked about it and was told it’s going to be a museum for old tractors and automobiles. I’m certain that will attract even more visitors to Cammack who might be hungry enough to stop in the restaurant for a sandwich or some ice cream. Smart, huh?
Even more interesting, what you see of the barn was tossed up in just seven days by an Amish crew. These guys waste no time, especially working in the snow.
