Despite having been licensed since 1977, I only began the quest for DXCC in 2022. I had just retired and figured the pursuit of DX would be a good goal for a fellow of leisure. Besides, it was near the peak of Cycle 25 making that decision an easy one. My station was incredibly modest. 100 watts and a multi-band vertical (20-6). I have recently upgraded to an Elecraft K4 along with a KPA1500 amplifier.

The antenna farm is next on the list for upgrading.

Though my results remain modest, I hope to make a little more noise beginning in the latter half of this year and see where that goes. For right now, the immediate task at hand is getting these hanging on the wall…
