KE9V is my amateur radio call sign that also serves as a short, unique, domain name. Licensed and continuously active in this hobby since 1977, I've explored many of the facets of ham radio from spark to space.
While the site is built around a blog, additional content is available here with much more to come. The goal of this page is to provide a central reference to that content.

Cornbread Road - In the summer of 2010 I debuted Cornbread Road, a ham radio mystery that may not be the best story you've ever heard, but so far as I could determine, it's the only fictional ham radio story available in audio format. On the planet. And that may still be true today. The story consists of 13 episodes I've been stingy about sharing since the original run. Now the audio files reside on the Internet Archive, you can download and listen now.
